About the role:

As a Senior Engineer – Platform Enablement, you take shared technical ownership of foundational capabilities that enable product teams across the company to focus on business impact instead of building and maintaining common building blocks on their own.

Your mission is to enable teams by providing high-quality solutions and services that reduce duplicated effort and improve consistency across the organization. These shared foundations support teams in areas such as observability, security baselines, CI/CD building blocks, and reusable infrastructure modules, quality solutions and services.

The role is deliberately focused on solution development and enablement. You build pragmatic, well-designed foundations that teams can adopt because they make their daily work easier and more effective. Decisions around prioritization and rollout are handled collaboratively with domain and technical leadership, allowing the role to concentrate on technical quality, usability, and long-term sustainability rather than driving adoption through organizational conflict, designed foundations that teams can adopt because they make their daily work easier and more effective. You work closely with another senior engineer in a shared ownership model, as well as with product teams, tech principals, and domain leadership. The concrete scope of the role evolves over time and is shaped by real needs, feedback, and opportunities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take shared ownership of cross team platform and enablement topics within the domain team.
• Identify recurring technical and operational challenges across teams and translate them into reusable solutions and services.
• Design and provide centralized logging, monitoring, and observability foundations.
• Define and evolve cloud security and compliance baselines (e.g. for AWS and Azure).
• Build and maintain shared CI/CD building blocks, such as reusable GitHub Actions and workflows.
• Design and implement reusable Infrastructure as Code modules (e.g. Pulumi components) asCode modules (e.g.).
• Create golden paths and reference implementations instead of rigid frameworks.
• Ensure shared solutions are pragmatic, well documented, and easy to adopt.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to understand constraints and real-world usage.
• Validate ideas through proof of concepts and experiments before scaling them.
• Promote best practices around DevOps, security, reliability, and developer experience.
• Act as a technical sparring partner for teams and other senior engineers.
