About the role:

We need an MDH Consulting & Development // SAP Developer (SAP RAP, SAP VDM, SAP MDG)


Key Responsibilities:

  • We are searching for a SAP developer with skills in SAP ABAP RAP and SAP VDM in the context of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

Requisitos mínimos

Requirements:

  • Communicative, self-confident and self-organized colleague to become part of our team!
  • Our team is responsible for the "Master Data Hub" (SAP MDG based on S/4HANA).
  • Experienced, autonomous employee with at least four years of professional expertise.
  • SAP Developer with strong knowledge in SAP RAP and SAP VDM in context of SAP MDG.
  • ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP): Must have deep expertise in RAP, the central development model for modern, cloud-enabledapplications in S/4HANA, enabling the creation of Fiori apps and services.
  • SAP Virtual Data Model (VDM): Strong understanding of the SAP Virtual Data Model (VDM), including the creation and use of interface, composite, andconsumption CDS views. Ability to design and leverage standardized semantic data models in S/4HANA.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) / MDM (Master Data Management)
  • Experience with Complex Workflow agent determination in BRF+
  • Experience in master data integration using SAP DRF/ALE/IDOC, Web services/SOAP, REST/ODATA and APIs
  • ABAP Cloud / Clean Core: Deep expertise in the ABAP Cloud development model, usage of released APIs, whitelisted objects, and restricted ABAP syntax.
  • Proven ability to design solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.
  • Public APIs and Extension Points: Must be highly skilled in utilizing the public APIs and extension points published by SAP to extend SAP objects withoutmodifying the core system.
  • Software Architecture & Development Principles
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture principles in the context of SAP S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud.
  • Proven ability to design and establish reusable frameworks and development patterns within ABAP (e.g. RAP-based service layers, reusable components,standardized extension patterns).
  • Clean ABAP: Deep knowledge of Clean ABAP principles, including readable, testable, and maintainable code design, as well as consistent use of namingconventions and modularization techniques.
  • Strong familiarity with the latest development guidelines and best practices.
  • Ability to review and challenge architectural decisions within the team and actively contribute to defining development standards and governance.
  • Experience in aligning business requirements with technical architecture, ensuring long-term sustainability and upgrade stability in S/4HANA environments.
  • ABAP Development Tools (ADT): Must possess significant experience using SAP ADT (including ABAP cleaner) as development platform for ABAPdevelopment.
  • SAP Application Extension Methodology (AEM): Must have a solid grasp of the SAP Application Extension Methodology
