About the role & responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, build, enhance, and operate modern SAP solutions in the area of SAP Project System (PS),Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), and Commercial Project Management (CPM) within an SAP S/4HANA landscape.

In this role, you will combine strong ABAP Clean Core capabilities with deep project-domain development expertise. You will develop cloud-ready andupgrade-stable extensions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS views, released APIs, and Fiori technologies wherever applicable, while also supporting integrationscenarios across FI/CO, SD, MM, and project-related reporting.

You will work in close collaboration with business process experts, product owners, architects, and cross-functional delivery teams to implement scalable,maintainable, and high-quality solutions for project planning, cost and revenue planning, portfolio management, issue and change management, financialintegration, and embedded analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP PS, PPM, and CPM applications and extensions in SAP S/4HANA using Clean Core principles.
• Build and expose business objects and services with RAP, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori Elements.
• Implement technical solutions supporting WBS structures, project planning, project execution, portfolio items, financial planning, cost and revenue planning,and project reporting.
• Design integration logic with SAP FI/CO, SD, MM, procurement, and controlling-related project processes.
• Create reusable service layers, APIs, extension patterns, and application components aligned with ABAP Cloud and released SAP artifacts.
• Support modern reporting and analytical enablement through CDS-based semantic models and embedded analytics.
• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

Technical skills required:

• ABAP Cloud / Clean Core development model.
• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Core Data Services (CDS) and SAP Virtual Data Model concepts.
• Fiori Elements and SAPUI5-based application development.
• SAP ADT (ABAP Development Tools).
• Released APIs, extension points, and SAP Application Extension Methodology.
• SAP Project System (PS) data structures and process understanding.
• SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) development support.
• SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) technical enablement.
• Project planning, cost planning, revenue planning, forecasting, and reporting related development.
• Integration with SAP FI/CO, SD, and MM.
• OData services, service bindings, and UI annotations.
• Software architecture and reusable development patterns.
• Clean ABAP, unit testing, and code review discipline.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for collaboration in international and cross-functional teams.
