About the role:

As Senior Solution Architect – Identity & Access Management (IAM), you are responsible for the architecture and strategic development of Jungheinrich's IAM landscape.

Working closely with service managers, engineers and fellow architects, you shape sustainable solutions that align business, security and technology requirements.

Our architecture practice is aligned with TOGAF principles and uses ArchiMate for modelling and communication.

This is an architecture-focused role and does not include operational, implementation or support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and develop the Identity & Access Management architecture of Jungheinrich
• Define target architectures and strategic roadmaps for identity services and platforms
• Design architecture concepts for cloud identity, tenant strategies, business collaboration, mergers & acquisitions and Zero Trust initiatives
• Drive architectural decisions in collaboration with service teams, security specialists and projects
• Translate business, security and compliance requirements into sustainable solutions
• Ensure a consistent and future-proof identity architecture across the organization

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in Solution Architecture, Identity & Access Management or related enterprise technology domains.
• Proven experience in developing architecture concepts, target architectures and strategic roadmaps in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working in large enterprise organizations with diverse stakeholders, distributed IT landscapes and complex governance structures.
• Ability to think beyond individual technologies and design sustainable solutions across organizational and technical boundaries.
• Strong understanding of modern identity platforms, identity providers and access management concepts.
• Experience collaborating with architects, service organizations, security teams, projects and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking and stakeholder management skills

Technical Knowledge:

• Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity architectures
• Authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SCIM)
• Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Business-to-business collaboration and external identities
• Zero Trust concepts and identity-centric security architectures

Nice to have:

• Experience with multi-tenant identity architectures and cross-organization identity collaboration.
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions and enterprise integration programs.
• Familiarity with Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management and related technologies.
• Interest in emerging identity trends such as machine identities, workload identities and AI-driven identity services.
