About the role:

As corporate R&D we are realizing business value for our Engineering departments. You will be part of a team, which is responsible for transforming our Engineering Processes to accelerate our digital transformation.

We are looking for a Business Analyst Engineering Processes to support the development and optimization of our engineering processes, ensuring the effective use of Siemens Teamcenter and NX and their integration with SAP ERP across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
• Best Practices: Stay updated on industry best practices and methodologies related R&D engineering and apply them to improve processes and methods.
• Support the development, standardization and design of the R&D engineering process.

• You will evaluate and design solutions for Siemens Teamcenter and NX in connection with SAP ERP.

• Your main focus is on managing of complete product structures for our vehicles. Beginning with the Design BOM (DBOM) and the hand over to the Engineering BOM (EBOM) with all variants.

• You will work in close collaboration with our IT-department to make sure that the IT-solution meets the business needs.

• Provide ongoing support to the Siemens Teamcenter and NX users by ensuring the correct usage of Teamcenter and NX.

• Prepare, create and deliver test-cases and end-user training for Teamcenter and NX.

Requirements:

• You have sound knowledge in the field of Mechanical Design with NX and Teamcenter.
• You have sound knowledge concerning the management of product structures (DBOM and EBOM) in Teamcenter. Ideally with the management of different product variants in a product structure.
• Your strengths include customer service orientation, communication and competent handling of different corporate levels.
• You have strong skills in moderation and leading business stakeholders in project teams.
• You are able to deliver solution designs out of the business requirements as basis for the IT concepts

Technical Skills:

• Sound knowledge of Mechanical Design using Siemens NX/Capital and Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of product structure management (DBOM/EBOM) in Teamcenter, including product variants.
• Experience working with collaboration scenarios in NX/Teamcenter across multiple Engineering Departments.
• Knowledge of international collaboration scenarios involving Engineering teams outside Europe, including IP Protection and Export Control requirements.
• Experience collaborating with external engineering and development partners through NX/Teamcenter.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.

Education:

• Successfully completed degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in Engineering Processes, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or a related field.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SAP PLM with the related engineering objects: material master, Bill of Materials, Documents, Change Master Records.
