About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Teamcenter Implementation Consultant to join our Engineering IT team. The role will focus on the implementation,configuration, and continuous improvement of our global Siemens Teamcenter landscape.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe and international locations to ensure stable operations, successfulproject delivery, and continuous system optimization.

A key success factor in this role is strong communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Implement, configure, and optimize Siemens Teamcenter solutions.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders.

- Support system rollout activities and global deployments.

- Ensure system stability and performance during and after implementation.

- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and standardization initiatives.

- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.

- Identify risks early and proactively drive solutions.

- Provide support and knowledge transfer to end users and key users.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter implementation and configuration (2-5 years of experience).
• Solid knowledge of BMIDE (data model configuration) and deployment concepts.
• Experience with Teamcenter customization (e.g., ITK, Active Workspace, ERP & CAD Integrations)
• Good understanding of PLM processes in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with system integration and data handling (e.g., databases, interfaces).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and high level of ownership.
• Ability to work independently as well as in global, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Siemens Engineering applications such as NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, Capital or Polarion.
• Experience with other enterprise CAD/PDM platforms (CATIA, ENOVIA, Zuken E3 or similar).
• Knowledge of application integrations, client/server architecture and solution design methodologies (BPMN, UML).

Soft Skills:

• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and version migrations.
• Knowledge of Active Workspace configuration and UI customization.
• Experience in configuring Teamcenter integrations (e.g. T4ST / Active Integration), including data mapping and synchronization between Teamcenter andenterprise systems (e.g. SAP) using standard integration frameworks and APIs.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
• Familiarity with NX, Polarion, or other Siemens Engineering tools.
• Understanding of cloud or managed service environments.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Java, scripting).
• Experience working with distributed offshore/onshore models.

Education & Certificates:

- Computer Science.

- Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar).

- Information Technology or related field.

Relevant certifications are an advantage, e.g.:

- Siemens Teamcenter certifications

- ITIL Foundation or similar (nice to have)
